Fried pickles make a wonderful appetizer or snack for when you have friends over or just anytime. These fried pickles are great with ranch dressing or my homemade buttermilk ranch dressing. We love to make these for any summer holidays. Great for Memorial Day, July 4th or any gathering with friends.
Homemade Fried Dill Pickles ingredients needed:
Pickle slices (I use Vlasic oval hamburger dill chips)
All-purpose flour
Baking powder
Black pepper
Cayenne
Egg
Beer (can use milk or buttermilk if you don’t use alcohol)
cooking oil
salt to taste
This makes around 25 pickle chips. Wonderful appetizer your friends and family will love. These little chips are addictive and I always end up having to make more than one batch! You could also make these with the pickle spears but you would probably need to double the ingredients.
Like I posted above, we love them with Ranch dressing but they are just as good with no dipping sauce.
