Cantaloupe Basil Salad The Southern Lady Cooks

This easy cantaloupe basil salad is the perfect summer dish. It’s refreshing, simple to prepare, and full of flavor. The basil adds so much to this recipe. Add this simple dish to any dinner. It’s wonderful with grilled chicken or pork chops. This recipe is simply summer in a bowl.

Ingredients Needed for Cantaloupe Basil Salad:

Feta Cheese

Olive oil

Lime juice

Recipe Notes: If your family isn’t a fan of feta, you can always use a different type of cheese. I’ve also made this salad using cottage cheese and it’s just as good. Feel free to add strawberries instead of blueberries or walnuts instead of pecans. I use around 10 fresh leaves of basil for this dish. You can add as much as you like.
